The default grips on Xbox controllers are meh at best, better to have something than nothing at all. These feel way better and add much needed grip to the controller. They have a nice rubber feel and texture and it doesn't feel like your controller will slip out of your hands. However, these do not fit the Xbox One controllers. These are designed only for the newer Series S/X controllers. The trigger stops are also a nice touch. They are not elite controller level with 3 options. These have a simple on and off slider. If you are an fps or battle royale player, these are a nice option to have. For the price, these are a tough sell at $25, you can find other similar options for cheaper. It's just the 2 side pieces of the controller and a removal tool. If you are a diehard Scuf brand loyalist, these are an easy recommendation. I purchased these on a gamble and have never bought anything Scuf branded before. Overall, I really like these. You get great added grip with the additional trigger stops. Instead of spending $130-$200 on an elite series controller where most people don't care for the back paddles or multi option trigger stops, this is a great "budget" elite controller option. Plus, if you also bought a rechargeable battery for your controller and this, you're half way to an elite controller in terms of hardware, in my opinion. Read more

So they feel great and look great, the reduction in trigger pull is nothing like a mouse click trigger however I’ve noticed it reduces the trigger pull to the very point where they activate so I’m happy with the feel and the grips are subtle but adds a higher grip. However an issue with my unit is that the right side lever rattles and at first seems like a minor thing I could over look but with vibrations it’s magnified I worked around it by smearing a little gunk on it to reduce the rattling but it kinda rubbed me wrong because the left side doesn’t have this issue and it’s not a cheap product for what it is. Am I glad I bought this? Absolutely. Is it what I thought it would be? No. Playing COD on Xbox: The description is deceptive. This is NOT an Instant/Hair Trigger. At max adjustment, you are hitting the same trigger point as without it. But instead of pressing all the way down on the button, you dead stop at the trigger point, which is at 50%. So your first firing is the exact same as without it, but your immediate follow ups, if you let go of "fire," are slightly faster. Instead of letting go from 100% and then going back to 50%, you follow up at 50% each time. This won't turn you from a 4 take downs per round to 40, but it makes the controller feel tighter and faster. Not at all for someone who is intensely serious about gaming, but if you want to blow off steam after work and feel a little edge over other players, it's solid. Read more

Despite the product itself being of decent quality, albeit overpriced, the failure to detail the item’s specifications properly caused quite a headache for me. Because of their failure to provide adequate information about the specs, In the process of following the directions provided to me by the manufacturer I wound up breaking my brand new Xbox Elite Series 2 Controller. A $149.99 cost that SCUF naturally had no intention of paying.
