I bought this hat for Ecuador. I was there the month of May - it was perfect. I LOVE THIS HAT and I am NOT a hat person. It is super cute and trendy. It is light weight, so not for super cold temps. Shape: If you don't where it loose the corners where the seams are will stick out in a box shape on the back of your head. That's the only reason I gave it less then 5 stars.
