I read the reviews here, and I knew going into this the top, flat sheet would not be hemmed where the, "top" of the sheet is. I also read about the bottom fitted sheet, the skulls facing to the side. I also read it can be a tight fit for taller mattresses. I knew some stuff going into this. This sheet set, has some problems going for it, where I just don't care for them. Yes, the fitted bottom sheet is a tight fit on taller mattresses. The mattress this went on is about 13 inches tall. A tight fit, but, it fit. The skulls also face sideways. The pillow cases are envelope closure, and have a flange around the edge. So, they are more of a pillow sham, than a pillowcase. No problem there, but, the Skull design is so big, and the pillow shams are one sides due to the envelope closure, that on one pillowcase there were only edges of skulls there. Not a big deal break, but. I was under the idea that the top sheet, the skulls faces proper. The top of the skulls towards the pillows. Nope. The top sheet lacks a hem where the top of it goes, but, it is not symmetrical, so, the tops sheet is built to go on the bed a certain way. I measured, and the top sheet I had was about 2 inches off one way, and 3 inches the other. No big deal. However, the top sheet, when placed proper on the bed, long-ways going from the top of the bed, to the bottom of the bed, the skulls will face sideways. Also, there are no tags anywhere on the sheets, or pillowcases. No idea where the sheets are made, wheat they are made with, how to properly care for them, all that good stuff you find on clothing tags, bed linen tags, etc. I typed this review to provide a bit more clear detail as to how these sheets are. I was OK with them at first, but when I saw the top sheet also went on sideways, and everything added up, to where I'm not happy with them. The pattern on the sheets is nice, however, the manufacturer needs work on how these sheets are made. If they improve it, by having care tags, the skulls facing the proper direction, a hem for the top of the flat sheet, etc, they'd be a much better product. Read more
