I've been looking all over for an option to mount my Escort MaxCam 360C radar detector to the rear view mirror of my C8 Corvette and only found one option, which was expensive. I actually ordered that one and could never get it working properly with my mirror. I decided to order this mount and it works like a charm! There's just enough room to use this behind the mirror for the mounts and the magnet holds the radar detector securely. This has solved a huge problem for me without spending a lot of money. Update: I had to make a couple of modifications to make this work better for me. The mount itself is great, but it needs some protective rubber tape to keep it from scratching the back of the Corvette C8 mirror. I added some rubber tape and the car is protected. The other issue is the magnetic radar detector mount doesn't inspire confidence. It'll hold my MaxCam 360C just fine, but the magnet doesn't lock it in perfectly. The fit is a little off. Luckily I had another magnetic mount that I used on my visor and was able to use that mount instead. Now I've got the perfect setup. Read more
Works great with my Cobra 480i radar detector ... I leave the mount in pace and easily mount and release the detector ... once you get it in right position and properly tighten it, it stays in place! Good purchase ... recommend! Read more
Perfect fit for my 2019 RAM 1500 rear view mirror. Locked my Escort radar detector in place. No more drops onto the dash from that windshield suction mount! Just as good quality as the mainstream alternative that costs 4x as much. Adding the power tap (https://amzn.to/4alD8WF) will get rid of the unsightly power cord. I recommend this simple kit to pop off the rear view mirror mount (https://amzn.to/4s6WLbj). Lots of youtube videos showing how to remove. Took me less than 30 minutes to install the power tap and mount. Then you can sell your 12V cigarette lighter plug and windshield suction mount that will pay for most of this! Read more
I installed in a 2025 raptor with the escort redline 360 C and M2 camera and I find it needs a rubber gasket to keep it from swinging left and right. Diesn not shift a lot but it does shift and the camera gets out of alignment sometimes. If there was a gasket there, it would be a five stars or a rubber insert would stabilize it on the mirror. I’m going to make my own rubber gasket, put it on there and it should stabilize it. Also the quarter inch threads are too big for all the attachments I had so I had to make my own to attach the camera to arm. Overall it’s a great unit that holds in place out of the way. Looks good in place just that little wiggle causes in trouble. Read more

Its completely made of metal so its sturdy and holds my detector extremely well. Its kind of hard tho to remove the detector from it which might be a good thing since it wont accidentally fall off the mount. I was pressing the release vutton on the detector and trying to get it off and had to give it a little umph to remove it since it fits really tight. If your one who always removes the detector then it might give you a hard time or annoy you. Otherwise its all metal and you can loosen the set screw on the side to make it more easy to adjust then tighten when you find the perfect placement. It fits snugly under the mirror and doesnt get in the way. Im sure it could last forever or at least many years. Read more
Attached it to the rear view mirror on a 2020 maxima with no issues getting it on, but I did have the wife help so installation wasn’t a problem. I do like the knob adjustment and haven’t had any problems with it coming loose. I’ve also had no issues with the magnet letting the dectector fall and have drove a few thousand miles with it. It fits the detector pretty snug, but not as great as the oem windshield suction cup that came with it. If asked for recommendations on it I would recommend for the price, nice quality, design and functionality, as stated my only real complaint is magnet fit into the detector. Read more
