Super lightweight and very warm — highly recommended!

LIUJANKANGNovember 15, 2025✓ Verified purchase

This sleeping bag exceeded my expectations. It is incredibly lightweight and packs down very small, which makes it perfect for keeping in my car or carrying on any trip. The warmth is impressive — even in cold conditions, it stays comfortable and well-insulated. The stitching and materials feel premium, and the zipper works smoothly without snagging.Highly recommended for anyone looking for a lightweight, warm, and high-quality sleeping bag. Read more

Warm, light, all the little flourishes

J. YoungSeptember 23, 2024

I generally prefer quilts to bags, but as I contemplate some solo trips in colder climes, a mummy bag seemed like a smart option. Because I tend to sleep hot and given the weight/compressibility of the different temperature ratings, I got a 15 degree rated long bag (I am 6'5"), my 30 degree quilt has taken me lower than its rating comfortably. I can't say I was thrilled with the sole yellow color option but oh well. The bag comes in a storage cell, and already Sea to Summit (who I have other gear by, I love their Evac bags) has me impressed. I try to preserve my down item's loft, but that means my camping gear storage area is draped in quilts and puffy jackets all willy-nilly. I love that this comes with a storage option not just for the trail (more on that) but also for at home. The bag itself is as light as you could hope for, and comes with a very elaborate lab analysis of the down. I can confirm it comfortably fits a taller person, I would even say you could get more that 6'6" in there. The double zipper is a boon for warmer nights to partially open the bag, and I like the snaps to attach a quilt, even mine from another brand can clip in. The cinch for tightening around the head and face is easy to use from inside the bag, at least to close it, loosening is a bit tricky. And it is toasty, though I haven't gotten to find its lower limit just yet. Under my guideline of the harder a piece of gear is to get in its stuff sack, the better and moat likely ultralight it is, this is quality ultralight gear. I do like that two of the snaps have snap buckles so you can really get a decent opening. You can really crank it down to compress it, and it relofted quickly after. All in all, I am pleased and impressed, and even the yellow is starting to grow on me. Read more

The travel size was fine. Rolled up small enough to store on my motorcycle. But if was to confining for my sleep style. Read more

Excellent warmth to weight ratio

R. EvanoNovember 3, 2024

This bag comes folded in a large cube-shaped zippered bag, preserving its fluffiness. It includes a stuff sack that is the same size of a typical warm-weather thin bag. It’s not much bigger than my poly-fill camp blankets that are good to maybe 50°. Once unstuffed, this appears a bit wrinkly, but it fluffs out to an impressive thickness. It’s a good 4” thick when fluffed up, there’s a lot of air gap between me and the outside while in this bag. The side zipper is easy to operate with pulls on either side. Pulling both pulls at once makes for a clean zip. No catching on the sides. There is a flap inside the bag that overlaps the zipper. Lifting this provides a controlled bit of ventilation if the bag gets too warn. The hood is large and has a drawstring to constrict the opening. I am able to position this so the exposed part of my face is a few inches below the wind, it is a large hood. I got the XL length, being right at the edge of the sizes. I like the extra room at my feet, and it allows me to scoot down and bunch up the top a bit as a pillow. There’s a lot of coverage at the head, which I like. Extremely lightweight for the amount of warmth it provides. Fluffs out an impressive amount, stuffs small enough to fit in my 55L pack. The material is thin enough to see the fill thru the yellow parts. It feels like ultralight hammock fabric. Soft for a synthetic. No negatives to this bag, aside from being expensive; it’s a winning design and top quality. Read more
