I love this sleeping bag so much! I camp year round with scouts, and I finally invested in a better bag after freezing through the night a few times. I've never been cold on a campout with this sleeping bag. The summer I use it as a quilt. It's a mummy shape but turns with me when I sleep on my side. If you are in the market for a four season backpacking sleeping bag, there literally is no better one on the market. This sleeping bag is the top of the line ultralight down sleeping bag with room at the hips and a little higher rating for people who sleep cold. I'm building out an Overlander, and although I am not a hardcore backpacker and much more of a day hiker, I have been upgrading my gear so I can go longer distances much more comfortably. I far prefer hike in camping to establish sites where I have neighbors with generators. Little worse than being in nature and having to listen to a TV in the neighboring RV. I have never had a better sleeping bag in my life. It's impossible to overestimate how light this is, and how high quality it is. My only issues are personal and not with the sleeping bag itself. I sleep hot, so I will only be able to use this in the winter and shoulder seasons. Even if I use it as a quilt with my feet tucked in. Also, I'm a little bit claustrophobic, so it's much more likely that I will use this as a quilt than a sleeping bag. With that being said, this has already become my favorite quilt. It feels fantastic, and I love the Sea to Summit brand. I already used their cookware, dry bags, and various other small things. This is an amazing sleeping bag! Read more
I don’t have the ability to check the cold rating because it’s summer, but it’s very warm! I love that it’s down filled and I can compress the bag down to a very small packing size. When you hike in to a camping site, it’s important to have lightweight gear and this is definitely lightweight, featherlight even! It weighs less than some of my king sized pillows, for reference. I like that it’s designed for women, giving us a more fitted experience than some of the bags that are designed for men who are bulkier in different areas than women are. This is extremely comfortable and I love that it’s so lightweight and comfortable to carry. A must have addition if you require featherlight gear for something like an AT hike or something similar!
