I do it after every change or when there's a buildup, and I must admit that it definitely helps decompress compared to not doing it. I started using this to get my water a little bit clearer. And it worked. It took my tank to that next level of cleanest or clearness I should say. I added whenever I do a water change whenever I add a fish or something like that. It really does make the difference. So, for some reason, my axolotl tank cycled and I could not get it to clear. I was doing daily partial water changes and clearing the filter. Still, no luck.
