I was hopeful these would work as advertised and I wasn't dissappointed at all. In fact, I was and still am quite pleased with the functionallity and light output of these switchback LED lamps. I installed one each in a new set of SPEC-D headlights 2-3 weeks ago, using them as park lights and turn signal lights, and these LEDs have performed flawlessly since that time, staying lit as a white light normally and turning amber when the turn signals are used. I'm also impressed that the amount of time for these to switch back from amber to white is about a second or very slightly longer and the switch from white to amber is even quicker. I typically don't use my park lights as DRL (daytime running lights) but these are bright enough when producing the white light to be useful as DRL lights. I was so pleased with these particular LEDs I bought another set and installed them in our 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee, which my wife generally drives, and she's noticed how nice they look and how well they function. That said, I would definitly recommend these to anyone who's looking for this kind of functionality in vehicels that have 3157 type turn signal lamps. Read more

this was a terrible idea and wish i stayed far away from this. looks like mine was missing parts and i had to splice wires.... there was no junction connectors. of course, it seems i was sent a used product as pieces are missing. spliced the wires on one of my turn signals for my 2013 dodge dart - the led was super bright but hyper flashing before installing the included resistor - after adding this in, the turn signal is super dim, can barely see it and i now have a left turn signal out code. this is not usable and wish i never installed this. now I have a wiring harness I will have to repair to regain normal functionality. im glad i only did one side as this would have been an absolute disaster if i did both sides.... just do yourself a favor and dont. get regular turn signal bulbs. now i have to hope i can restore the original functionality and have no issues. why amazon is selling used products as new or selling stuff that is missing components is beyond me. even if i had the cable taps, it wouldnt work.
