This is my 2nd Secura Air Fryer. The first was used by my family at least once everyday & sometimes more for 8 years. Perfect for teens bc it shuts off automatically - less chance of burning the dish. This newer model did have a terrible plastic smell initially but after using a dozen or more times it has dissipated. This is faster than the oven & cooks better than a microwave. So far I'm loving this Air Fryer, I don't know but the flavors of the food even the veggies are amazing, is like it increases the taste of it. Right now I'm doing a diet where i can't cook with any type of oil and I have to eat healthy, I bought this to help me do it. Honestly if you are trying to have a healthy lifestyle you should get this. The size was perfect for me and my husband. Also it comes with the skewars rack that's a plus. It's easy to use, just use the screen and it has already the setups for almost everything. I saw a lot of people complaining about the materials...and I think is because they don't Wash it after used, of course you have to, it is like when you use your pan, it's easy to clean and so far it's perfect. I'm in love with this Air Fryer.. very easy to use. I enjoy all the features the air fryer offers. I only cook 2 foods out of this so far. It was store bought French fries as pictured and chicken. Update: I used this air fryer almost every single day for 28 months. I absolutely loved it. I finally wore it slap out. No regrets and I definitely got my money’s worth! I love everything about this air fryer! We have only had it for few days and have fried shrimp that were plump, juicy and crispy, shrimp kabobs, chicken tenders, grilled veggies, Asian drumsticks and pineapple slices that were perfectly browned and delicious! I am so glad that I ordered this air fryer. I had ordered a smaller version of this one about 6 years ago and about wore it out. I stepped up and ordered a larger Secura and I am amazed. Not only did I pay about the same amount for the bigger one, but I am also impressed with the new features the bigger Secura Air Fryer has. I received it in 3 days and they both sit side by side on the counter. The little one still works great. I have a follow-up. Even though I love this air fryer, it has, what could be a serious flaw. The handle screws loosen up from the basket every 4th or 5th time I use it, which could be dangerous. I have an older model which is smaller but I never had this problem. Just beware. Read more
