I have been looking for this style of boot with a 1.5” heel, and this two-inch heel is pretty close. It is faux suede but looks and feels a little more like real suede than most other “suede” shoes I’ve seen recently. It probably wouldn’t matter in a dark color, but I think faux suede looks more obvious in light colors. Fortunately the laces can be replaced because they easily come untied. The zippers work smoothly, and the boots are very comfortable. I had no break-in period, but I ordered a half size too large, because I wasn’t sure if I should get 9 or 9.5. I’m wearing them with thick socks, and they’re a little wide but I will order dark brown in 9, because I think that will be a perfect fit. The only thing I don’t like is that the toe extends a full inch beyond my big toe. In the picture, I have my finger on the top of my big toenail, and you can see there is a lot of excess room from my finger to the tip of the boot. It makes my feet look huge and poses a big challenge going up and down my stairs. Read more

These are about what I expected, although they are a tad long and they make my feet look bigger than they are. The laces untie easily but the zippers work well. They’re fairly comfortable, and the color is appropriate. I’m not sure yet if I like the style; I’ll wear them a bit more to see, but that’s just a personal preference. Being faux suede, I’m not sure how durable these are. The quality is average for faux materials. If this is a style you like, you may enjoy these.
