Semi Flush Mount Ceiling Light Fixture Vinatge Black Ceiling Lights Mid Century Modern Glass Close to Ceiling Lighting

We bought 2 of the amber GloMuse Ceiling Lights for our entryway. The glass appears well made and quite heavy. Installation was easy, since we just had to swap out with the old fixtures. I added a 10” ceiling medallion to the base, which I think gives them a more balanced look. One thing to keep in mind is the type of bulbs you plan to use. I found that using 60w daylight bulbs were the best for allowing the sparkle and cut of the glass shade to shine through. A softer/warmer color of light bulb did not have the same effect. Very nice light, especially for the price. I installed it myself and it was pretty straightforward. The glass globe is very heavy and nice. It's definitely not plastic. I've only had them in for a few days, but they dressed up the hallway. I will say that for installation, watch a video in addition to reading the directions. I found YouTube much more helpful than the instructions they came with. Also, you might need to get different screws for the ones that hold the fixture to the frame. I found several mine to be too small. (The ones that came with the light were 1 inch, I ended up replacing with 1 1/4 inch screws so they would have enough threads to secure the fixture.) Read more
