Be patient. That's what it says all over the instruction manual - this isn't a solution that works overnight, nor is it expected to be. Many years ago I did laser hair removal, and this Sensica is very similar to that process. It's easy to use with clear instructions, but you do have to carve out time to do it. I used it on the highest setting with no pain or sensitivity. I've done one session on each of my legs and haven't noticed too much of a difference, yet, but per the instructions it takes many sessions 5+ weeks apart. That's similar to the professional laser hair removal process. Hair grows in stages, so you need to wait in between sessions to catch all the different stages. I found that the battery doesn't last as long as I'd hoped, so I wasn't able to do both legs in the same session without recharging. I spoke to customer service about this and they were very helpful and said it might be an issue with my device. There's a warranty for defects like battery issues, so they'll send me a new one if I go through the warranty process (I haven't had chance to do that, yet). Read more

I bought this 3 months ago for my teenage daughters and it is a huge success!! Some key features that make this device so great: 1. Energy level adjustment - you can choose the energy level that works for you, increase or decrease as you go along. For my youngest this was a great crowd pleaser as she started from the lowest energy possible and worked her way up as she gained confidence. 2. Automatic mode - this is a great feature especially when treating larger areas like legs, the energy pulses are released as you move along with the hassle of operating it every pulse independently. But the best feature of this product is that it actually reduces hair growth! Considerably! My younger daughter has used it about 5 times now and we can actually see the difference in hair growth quantity.
