This is the best eyeliner I have ever used. It is certainly worth the extra $$. Other pencils faded off or smeared, but this one stays put and stays dark. I do not like the "ink" on eyeliner and like the "pencil" look (it looks more dramatic and not "drawn on"), so this is perfect. this liner is perfect for the smudge effect. the tip is quite thick so it's not very versatile. It's very smooth and goes on easily. i live in a warm place so that pencil also sometimes crumbles easily but that can be cured by not extending too much at a time. i like the smudge end. it works fine and is great for everyday use.
