This dress looks great, but I otherwise have some mixed feelings about it. Here’s what I like: - This dress looks as expected from the listing and photos. - Per the size chart I thought my regular size might be tight, but it fits just fine. - It's quite easy to get into. The zipper in the back is hardly needed. Here’s what I’m neutral about: - N/A. Here’s what I don’t like: - This dress isn’t just covered in sequins. There are also bugle beads. I think the sequins would be fine on their own, but the beads scratch and poke at my arms, making this dress very uncomfortable to wear. - With all the sequins/beads, this dress has some weight to it. The main body seems to handle it okay, although the fabric is a little thin, but the skinny halter strap is not nearly enough to hold it up. Overall, this dress looks great but it needs some work. Not only is it scratchy to wear, I feel like it’s a wardrobe malfunction waiting to happen. I wish it had a better halter strap, or even yet, some shaping built in around the bust to hold it up. As it is, I’m not going to wear it to any functions without at least reinforcing the little halter strap and adding a bunch of clothing tape around the neckline. Read more
