This weight rack has been a great addition to my workout space. The heavy-duty steel construction feels very sturdy, and the 800-pound capacity gives me confidence that it can handle all of my plates without any issues. Once assembled, it feels solid and stable with no wobbling, even when fully loaded. I really like the 2-in-1 design. Having both the plate holders and the four barbell holders keeps everything organized in one place instead of having weights scattered around the floor. It makes my workout area look much cleaner and also makes grabbing plates during workouts much easier. The powder-coated finish is another nice touch. My Olympic weight plates are stepped in diameter based on their weight. I have some that are 6.5” in diameter and others that are as big as 15”. This stand does a good job spacing out the horizontal holders in varying heights so that it can accommodate the larger ones. If all your plates are 15- 18” in diameter you’re probably not going to be able to use all 3 bars. The central pile design keeps everything balanced. It’s stable even when the bottom 2 bars are empty. The rack itself weighs nearly 30 lbs. It’s a solid piece of equipment, yet still portable enough to move around when needed. There’s 4 barbell slots. This is actually one of the reasons I chose this model. Having the barbells up and off the floor and stored vertically in a way that they don’t tip and fall over, is so nice in smaller gym space. it's really important to keep everything organized when you have a home gym and when i recently bought more weights to add to my weight training I needed a solution to make everything easy to access. This Serenelife Weight Plate rack did the trick! I was quite impressed at the heavy duty construction of the parts used to manufacture this rack. It's quite sturdy and doesn't wobble. It's thick gauge steel give me confidence that if i placed more weights on the rack it would hold up very well. What I really liked about this weight plate rack that's different than most is that it has (4) olympic barbell holders which I was able to store a barbell bar, ez curl bar and I was even able to store a trap bar to keep it off the ground. What I didn't like about this barbell plate rack is that there was a CA Prop 65 warning on the box that indicates that there may be some materials used in the manufacturing of this rack that may be harmful to your health, as a suggestion to the manufacturer avoiding the use of these materials would instill confidence in health-conscious buyers of this products, such as myself. I got this to organize my weight plates and have a place to store bars. I still have a need for more organization stuff but my home gym is very much a work in progress and since my shoulder has been bad I've not had much of a need to progress it quickly. This storage rack is exactly what I hoped it would be. It was easy to build, very sturdy, holds the plates that I have and helps me get them off the floor. There's plenty of room for expansion and with an 800 lb capacity (I have nowhere near that on there but have no reason to doubt the number). It also holds my barbell with ease (it's sturdy without being difficult to place it inside the rack). Very happy with this purchase and definitely recommend the rack to you as well! Read more
I was very close to giving a 5 star rating. However, my item was received with one of the knobs missing. This is a minor mistake that creates a lot of frustration. The knobs are used to secure the weight pegs in place. Now the peg moves when trying to rack weight plates. I can find hardware to replace and secure the peg on my own, but I shouldn't have to do that. For a product that has very minimal hardware and such an easy assembly, it's a shame that these kind of mistakes are made. That being said, for the price of this, it is an excellent piece. Very easy assembly and feels pretty sturdy. Edit: I originally gave this a 2 star review for missing hardware. Very solid piece. One of the plastic inserts was broken but that doesn’t affect the rack. It actually works better for a larger size bar that won’t fit inside with the plastic inserts. Have no doubt this will last a long time. If any of the rubber feet need to be put on use a heat gun to loosen them up. Read more
