This safe is the perfect bedroom safe. It easily fits in a closet and has plenty of room to store important documents, jewelry, weapons, cash, and more. I personally use this safe to store important documents for my family. The safe has an electronic keypad powered by batteries. The keypad helps unlock the safe with a PIN, you have the option to choose your own PIN and even change it in the future if you choose to. The safe also comes with a key that can bypass the PIN and that can also be used in case the batteries in the safe deplete. Overall the safe feels quite sturdy and even has mounting holes to secure it to your home's wall studs for extra security. I'm very satisfied with this safe; at this budget level, I could not ask for more. Read more
As the title says for the price it is a good safe. Don't expect a top of the line safe here but for the price it's a good deal. The only issue I have with it is that for some reason my red reset button only works intermittently and I end up having to push the button multiple times in succession before it finally registers. Since I only have to set the combo with the button once it's no big deal. Had I not had to spend 10+ frustrating minutes trying to set the code before figuring out the above it would probably get 5 stars. Read more
This safe arrived secure and sturdy. The combination was easy to set. Unfortunately, I somehow locked the security keys inside the safe as I was about to wrap it for my grandson, and the combination did not work for whatever reason. I think that the batteries might have gotten somehow jostled and erased my entry code, which wouldn't have been a problem if the keys weren't locked inside the safe. I contacted the seller, and they courteously mailed another key to my residence. Unfortunately, the new key didn't work either, so they verified the lock number and sent yet another key. This one worked, and my grandson is quite happy with his safe. On every occasion the staff supporting this product were courteous, helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. This safe lock which I started using for my jewelry and important documents really made me at peace whenever I need to leave my house for long periods of time . I installed it inside my cabinet. It was sturdy and safe and easy to install. However; I misplaced the key and looked all over but couldn't find it. I need to open it to get an important doc. So I am pleading for a spare or duplicate key. I am willing to pay for a reasonable price . Hope you will help a 79 y.o. woman like me. Read more

The instructions advise that upon 1st use, you should open the safe with the emergency key. To do this you need to remove the Emergency Lock Cover but the ELC does not move so that you can use the keys to get in. So how the heck am I supposed to get into this safe? If I can't even open it for the 1st time, what happens when I really need to open it when there is an emergency another time? In addition, the warning ⚠️ label on the back advises that this safe contains chemicals known to cause cancer, birth defects and other reproductive harm. I paid about $19 for this product but the price is currently $63.00. The moral of this story, you get exactly what you pay for. I'll be returning it today. We needed to update our safe and also wanted to get a larger, more accessible one in the process. After looking for a few months we finally picked this one and it was exactly what we need right now. The size is perfect to keep hidden in the closet and it's very easy to setup and use. It comes with a set of keys and keypad. We can finally keep ALL of our important papers in one place. No more finding a key across the room to open the safe in the closet. I would recommend this for those wanting a easy to use accessible safe for a great value. Read more
