Sesame Street Elmo Hooray 3-in-1 Potty Training Toilet Seat and Step Stool Easy to Clean Design with Flush

Okay so this is the cutest little potty ever! My 18 month old loves elmo so much and i thought having that association might make potty training a bit easier with a comforting friend on it to make it less scary. We havent gotten through the training yet by any means but heres what i like about this potty. A big part of the battle is to get the kids to understand what they are doing and from the start, my baby loved this potty and i got it for him for christmas. He has since already begun to regularly go to the seat and sit on it himself. He tells me in his little ways already throughout the day about wanting to go sit on it. I plan to take the next week and begin the training full time now its great that he found his own interest in going and now we just have to pair up his body with the urge but i feel like alot of what i planned on being tough was already done for me! I know its basically because he saw elmo and hears him with the flusher and he didnt have to be scared of it. last time i did this it was really hard to get my son to understand what to do at the potty. This time we started with just practicing getting a feel for a potty and sitting on it. He is eager to start trying and not scared of it at all. i look forward to seeing how this will affect the rest of his training so i might be back to follow up this review. so far i am so happy i went for the character i never used to do that because i thought that it was something that i didnt believe in....buying stuff for the character on it is against my own character but i see how in this case it made a difference i might rethink that belief sometimes from now on. It is comparable to all the others i found as far as cost and if anything is only a few dollars more than others i saw it is sturdy and easy to assemble easy to use and i think it could even double as a stool for the sink for teeth brushing as well. i cant say much comfort other than its no less comfortable than a normal seat on a toilet. yeah even i am looking forward to doing this haha ....well as much as could be. Perfect, my daughter trained on it so quickly and love that you can use it as a stool to wash you hands and that she’s able to have flush sounds which makes it fun for her .i bought another for upstairs and one to have at grandmas house . Read more

Very cute. Easy to clean. Sturdy. I wish it made a flush every time. My 2-yo (24 months) doesn’t have as much room on this one as the ikea potty. The pee guard may eventually be why she misses. I’m sure it’s helpful for a boy. 4 stars because the lid slams hard and fast and fingers have been pinched. As far as comfort goes, she does seem to want to get off this one faster than the ikea potty. But she sure does love Elmo and she can “use the potty like Elmo!” Read more
