Honestly, I didn’t know what to expect with ordering a king size bed on Amazon. I must say this bed surpassed my expectations. It was easy to build (me and my bf built it within an hour and a half). Very sturdy. My only complaint is I didn’t realize how low this bed is. I still love the bed. I don’t mind low beds but if you do, then this isn’t for you. It’s actually really nice. I thought it would be cheap crap but it’s actually very nice. It’s a budget friendly product with great quality. Doesn’t require box springs either just the mattress. It’s pretty easy to put together. One person if they had to definitely could. My spouse and I had it put together in less than a hour. I would recommend to anyone looking for something budget friendly that doesn’t break the bank but still is looking for good quality. The only complaint I had was the box came and had oil or something like that all over it. Luckily everything in the box is wrapped so it didn’t get on anything. Most furniture has a really weird smell. This didn’t have that smell either. UPS delivered it box was a little messed up and oil was all over the box. This bed frame is a very nice material and looks good, feels soft. 4 stars because the slats weren’t so sturdy. When lying down it gave the impression the slats sagged at the head board. Even though the slats weren’t compromised when I checked, and it didn’t make noise, they gave a little while lying on it, I even tried adjusting the bed because I thought maybe it wasn’t centered properly. It still gave, so I replaced slats with a metal bed frame in the center so I can keep the headboard. I like the look & color. I’ve used this bed frame for about a year now. Its exactly the same as when I first got it! I remember putting it together alone and it wasn’t too difficult. My cat likes to use the headboard as a scratcher and it doesn’t ever leave any evidence of it haha. Bought for my 9 year old as an upgrade. Beautiful and sturdy. Feels nice and soft. Takes a bit to put together but all the parts were there and no defects. Just as described.
