They must have changed their packaging before i received my cup. it came sealed in a plastic bag and was clean looking unlike prior reviews. I highly recommend this product for anyone dealing with a child that screams bloody murder when they get their hair washed in the tub. I did a lot of shopping looking for an item exactly like this. Works great in preventing soap from getting in my babe's eyes and last night was the first hair wash that he hasn't screamed in months so thank you. Read more
Whoever invented this should get a bonus! It's durable and an extremely great idea! Read more
This rinse cup is fantastic. My two year old was petrified of getting her hair washed. Washing her hair used to be such an ordeal with her screaming constantly and trying to get out of the bath. She hates to get water on her face. After unsuccessfully trying other things like the visor (which he refused to put on), I decided to give this rinse cup a shot. It's amazing!! It really keeps the water away from her face. We have only used it a couple of times so far, so she still cries a bit, but not nearly as much as before. Also the cup definitely doesn't let water drip on her face and I am sure she will realize that it's safe and will overcome her fear. The cup has two compartments. When you tilt it on the child's head, the water from the front compartment falls on the top of the head, whereas water from the back compartment (closer to the handle) falls on the back of the head washing away soap from there. I do have to refill the cup a couple of times to make sure all the soap is out, but the two compartment design makes it efficient. My only issue with this cup is.....why didn't I find it earlier??!! I highly recommend it for all toddlers, especially the ones who are scared of getting their hair washed. It's an excellent product! Read more
Love this for my 4 month old. He has long hair and this easily allows me to wash off the suds from his hair. I have the gray and white one which matches his baby bathtub. Read more
I honestly personally like this product however my daughter hates the water and every time I put her in the bath she flips out. She's 18 months old and hates her hair washed. I got this because the reviews that I read said that it helped their children be less afraid of the water because it helped not get water in their eyes while washing their hair. Well needless to say my kid doesn't hold her head back when I'm rinsing her hair so she still gets water in her face. I think ideally if she would have tilt her head back this would be perfect and I would recommend this to other people for washing their kids hair. It's lightweight and it fits on the head very well I really like the design of the rubber piece it makes it very durable Read more
Bath time was a huge fight because our daughter, understandably, didn't want water and soap in her eyes. We tried using one of those bath visors for a while, but they leaked or would fall off in the middle of washing. This cup has been amazing though! She now agrees almost immediately to let us wash her hair, as long as we do the "special trick" with this cup (hold her bangs back and help her keep her head tipped back). Cup was a tiny bit dirty when it arrived (as if stored in a dusty shed), but I had seen that in other reviews and wasn't bothered by it. Read more
This works well for my 19-month old who hates to have water in his eyes. He hasn't learned to tilt his head back yet and I've tried all sorts of rinse cups and visors without much success. This works best because I am able to warn him: "Ready, 1, 2, 3" and pour water on his head just once (and very quickly), and immediately wipe the water off his face with a towel. This way, he only gets to cry for a couple of seconds at the end of his bath, and then before he knows it, it's over. Read more
