Does not hold lids open
I am an eye doctor and purchased this to help some of my patients keep their eyes open to insert contact lenses. This did not work. At all. Useless Read more
Now I can consider contacts!
I went for my eye exam and was asked if I had ever considered contact lenses? They worked with me and I just could not stop blinking or get the lenses out. We made another appt & I grabbed my phone to see if Amazon had something that would help. The pink instrument was soft against my eye yet I was able to hold my lid in place without blinking. The small pc (blue) easily placed the soft contact comfortably on my eye and removed it. Great price and NO BLINKING! Read more
Made well, but completely useless
For the price, this is actually a really well made product. However, it doesn't help whatsoever. The thing doesn't actually hold your eyes open, and the contact holder doesn't even hold the contact. I suspect all similarly designed products are going to be just as useless. Read more

Does a great job
I ended up bending the forceps slightly wider with a heat gun as others have. A hairdryer is probably good enough. It's immeasurably easier with this device that using hands that slip when wet. Tool would be better if the body was stainless and the for eps were plastic covered in silicone. A box a bout 1/3 larger would be helpful, as it would fit a contacts case I use this to insert scleral contact lenses. Read more
