I have never wrote a review on anything before but after using this vacuum, I RAN to my phone to write this! Wow!!! If you’re wondering if you should buy this, DO IT! I went back and forth between a few vacuums not sure of which one would be worth the money. My husband bought this for me along with the shark robot vacuum (also amazing). He had this completely assembled in about 5-10 minutes. We had new carpet installed in all 4 bedrooms about 3 months ago, i didn’t think I would get much in the dust bin because I have been using our previous vacuum. Boy was I wrong!! This thing had incredible suction picked everything up on the first swipe, lightweight and I easily got the stairs vacuumed with the detachable compartment! Love love love! I did lots of research on vaccums before buying this one. The reviews I read here convinced me this was the one for my needs. And boy, the reviews were spot on. Loads of power. 2 settings, 1 for bare,1 for carpet. It was amazing what came out of the rugs. I could hardly believe it ! ( I had been using cordless vac. )Also does an outstanding job on bare floors as well. It's quite easy to do stairs and anything up high with the lift away feature. It's not super light, but reasonable for it's power. I am 61 and in decent shape, so not a challenge for me. I would go as far as to say, with its swivel feature, it makes the weight easy to maneuver in most situations. It easy to clean, easy to dump.all the filters are accessible and nice long cord . It's best feature , I think is ,I can clean my very long shag rug. You cannot push the vacuum through it, but can pull it back and forth. Did a fantastic job on it..and everything else in my home. I bought this vacuum refurbished about a year ago. I urgently needed a good vacuum as I have 2 cats that are both long haired, and a golden retriever! I was pleasantly impressed by the price for the brand. The vacuum was easy to assemble. Which makes it easy to clean, and it can be used on multiple surfaces ie.. hardwood floors, area rugs, carpets, linoleum, etc. Pros I love the LED lighting on the vacuum. It make it easy to see spots you missed and how dirty your floors are! The length of the power cord is perfect. I can vacuum the whole house from one outlet. It also makes it easier to go around corners and furniture. The Lift-Away feature is great. It makes it easy to reach cobwebs in corners. Also I love this feature for cleaning my stairs. This is awesome so I don’t have to kill my back lugging around a vacuum. I’ve even used it to vacuum out my floor boards in my car! (with the upholstery attachment) The Self-Cleaning Brushroll is very convenient and works very well. Although I have had to clean out the brushroll twice for longer hair that wrapped around it. The maneuverability of the Swivel steering is great for corners and going around furniture! Cons The attachments the vacuum come with are awesome, I use the upholstery attachment the most. Unfortunately the vacuum doesn’t have a storage space for the attachments. It makes the attachments easy to misplace which is annoying. Overall I find this vacuum to be a great deal for the price. I quickly found this has been my favorite vacuum that I’ve ever owned or used. I would 10/10 recommend it to anyone who enjoys having clean floors! Read more
My Dyson no longer was picking up well and I was sick of spending top dollar for new filters so decided to give this vacuum a try. I have a cordless Shark vac that I use everyday, so I was familiar with the brand. It is a solid vacuum that has excellent suction. It has an extra long cord, lights on the front, it's easy to empty the canister, quieter than most vacuums and rolls effortlessly. I gave it 4☆ for 3 simple fixes... There is no where to attach the cord while vacuuming, so you have to hold it it one hand as to not run it over. The power/floor setting button is super low on the vacuum. Lastly, there is no where to store the attachments on the vacuum. Other than that, this is a great vacuum!! Read more
This vacuum has done everything as advertised very well. It has great suction and a very long power cord . It does my carpet and bare wood floors perfectly. I can take the canister off the unit and clean the a/c grates on the ceiling with ease. It really has worked great so far. No complaints at all. Read more
I have purchased a bunch of these vacuums for owners of houses we manage. They are generally great. This one was refurbished and sold by CYBER OUTLET. It has been used 3 times since September and now, just 8 days past the warranty window, it has quit working. I took it apart down to the motor as there was a metal on metal sound coming from there. I found metal dust and a gear visibly worn. I tried to contact Amazon and Shark separately with no luck. I am ordering a new one because these are the best vacuums for the price. I normally do not write bad reviews but thought i would share my frustrating experience. Read more
