Very nice piece of equipment. The good aspects: ability to easily vary the suction power, multi-directional suction head, extremely long cord length, good light on the suction head and finally relatively inexpensive. I'd buy it again in a NY minute. Read more
The media could not be loaded. I had an old Shark vac that finally fell apart after 10 years. It was a workhorse so I wanted to replace it with another Shark. So far, this new one hasn’t disappointed. Powerful suction and the brush really does seem to self clean. We usually pick up a lot of hair but from the video, you can see there’s no hair at all!!! My only complaint is that it has two attachments but only one tool holder. The instructions don’t show how to mount the tools so I just insert one into the other. Read more
I bought this Shark to replace a Bissell that had to have the roller brush replaced on it 4x per year at a yearly cost of almost $100. This shark is the best vacuum cleaner I have ever owned. Read more

Four star vacuum cleaner -- satisfactory for the price but heavier than expected. I am taking off one star because an object got caught in the roller (my fault). Most vacuum cleaners even other Sharks make it easy enough to open the back and remove the obstruction. Not so here. There are no instructions online or otherwise to show you how to do so. Instead by trial and error, I found I had to remove over 30 individual screws (some hidden behind wheels, etc. that must be removed) of different types and sizes (better have a set of Torx security screw drivers around the house) to finally be able to pop out the roller and remove the object. Then you have to remember where all those 30 different screws have to go back. Shark seems to have designed this so that if the belt ever breaks or you need any other minor repair, you will need to buy a whole new vacuum cleaner rather than attempt what should be an easy home repair. That is expensive and wasteful. No more Sharks for me. Read more
Suction is great. Canister is small so I had to empty it a couple times. It is nice what is called the "pod" detaches to vacuum the steps but the hose does not extend far at all so you have to carry the pod in one hand and vacuum with the other hand which doesn't work for me at all Read more
