basically everyone who is a SSX or Extreme Sports fan should know the greats, Tony Hawk, Rob something lol, Luke Cross i think & Shaun White & a few others but Shaun White i've always known has been in snowboarding videogames but not this time. The videogame itself is a mystery like the title, transforming your own reality with your skateboard but like it's not even reality it's bending the real out of the reality. Controls are easy to learn & the tricks are as realistic as ever but you are limited to do only tricks that can be done in real life unlike The SuperMan 360 or 540. What you control with your skateboard can alter buildings, vehicles, people & more. It's a one of a kind videogame & i'm glad Ubisoft did it. But multiplayer is tough to understand but i'm learning more everyday. Just see for yourself Read more

To start, I'm not a fan of the uber sktating franchises such as Tony Hawk and Skate. These titles at one point were fun, but slowly attempted to alter their formula into something straying from the average person who might enjoy these games. I was on a cheap shopping binge, looking for titles I was curious about and came upon Shaun White Skateboarding. After watching a video or two, I was intrigued. The player has the ability to alter the surroundings by performing different tricks (similar in some sense to "Da Blob"). So while the concept was captivating to me, I needed to know if the game suffered from the disorienting camera of "Skate" or the ho-hum control scheme of the latter "Tony Hawk" series. When I received the game, I was pleasantly surprised. Sure, there's a level of camp with the story, trying to tell a story of Big Brother (The Ministry) trying to control the population with skating somehow being the "good guys" righting these wrongs through skating". While the concept is eye rolling, what ended up being wonderful was the method the player interacts with the world. As the ministry has controlled the world, it has enveoloped everything in a grey color scheme. Freedom in the form of skating paints the world with bright and beautiful colors. As you play, you unlock new abilities such as controlling rails up and out in the world, allowing ramps to produce in particular locations, and creating your own path through the world. The controls are easy to learn and quite enjoyable. While diehard skating fans might not enjoy this game due to allegiances to their particular brand, those who find the other endeavors too much to handle, this is a nice learning experience with moments that will make you chuckle. There might be more technical skate board games out there, but few were as enjoyable without becoming a complete simulation. I definitely recommend this and most certainly at the more recent budgeted price. -Adam Read more

I bought this game cause I wanted a skateboarding game and it was cheap. Now that I have played it I would have payed a lot more. The controls are a little weird at first but once you get used to the game it is so much fun! I play it all the time. I beat the game and got 67% trophies so far and trying to get all. It is a great game and a great price, buy it! And add me on PSN and we'll play it online!! Read more

lots of fun. My young son has a good time playing it. Actually my favorite thing is they don't make some spectacle of you falling off your board, wasting time, you skate around and your always in motion. So it's just fun to experiment on the terrain. I like the effect that the places are blackand white and then color is painted into the scene as you skate obstacles in that area. makes it clear on where to go, and where you've been. It's a nice unobtrustive effect in my opinion. Read more

when i first purchased this game i installed this game twice on the amazon installer i kept getting corrupted files with a error called CRC FIXED; its mandatory to use Uplay which is similar to steam so take your product key and download the game there not on amazon installer, be sure to shut down virus protection or any security and ,dont run any programs during the download the keyboard control scheme is horrible it makes you want a refund , first off the control layout ive never played a game like this with a hundred buttons to do tricks because they mimic EA skate and fused it with tony hawk , tony hawk pc controls were simple but shaun whites is garbage . it does support controllers it works well with my xbox360 controller and my logitech controller but the tricks are inaccurate i allow just do an ollie and it will kick flip or ill follow the instructions for flip tricks and get nothing its like Skate it for Wii mixed with tony hawk , BTW good luck finding pc review online it mainly a console game the controls for controllers dont even match Read more

This game was purchased for my kids and they are loving it. It has quests or trials that you do to earn items and new songs for the playlist which steers the game from just skating around in circles the entire time. It could use more of a storyline or something, but for our family, it's a good addition to the new collection. Read more
