I bought these shoes from Birkenstock site, and BTW they are on sale now, much cheaper than on Amazon. I bought 8-8.5 Regular/Wide because I wanted some extra room in the width due to my neuroma. I always have an issue with sizing when it's either 8-8.5 or 9-9.5. I have a solid 8.5, 8-8.5 is tight and 9-9.5 is too big. I hate it when I need two pairs of socks to make a boot stay on my foot. Birk's sandals in 8-8.5 fit well, so I thought the boots also will be OK. They are tight. My toe is touching the front of the boot, and this is with the thinnest sock I have. I kept them hoping they'll stretch a little since its a good quality suede, and it tends to change the shape. Otherwise, it's an excellent buy, especially for $90 I paid for them. Read more

I have a lot of summer Birkenstocks. I was bummed that I did not have any to wear in the winter. I had purchased a pair of flat shoe looking ones and they were really bad. These however are perfect! They have a little extra space for one to wear them with thick socks for the winter, they keep feet truly warm and as for comfort ... they feel just as great as my summer ones.. these will be my after work go to winter shoes. The only thing is they are not waterproof but I am thinking of spraying them with water repellent so problem solved. Read more

This boot was true to size lengthwise and fit well in the toe area. The heel and ankle area were absolutely gaping though, it felt like I had an inch of space on either side of my heel. The fit was way too sloppy to be comfortable, my heel lifted up with every step. Read more
