The turtle liked it

J. A.January 27, 2026

Simple item. It's smaller than the cuttlefish bones I usually give our turtle, but it seems to be denser. We dropped it in her tank and it lasted about a week before it was all gone. Our turtle seemed to like it and she's still alive and kicking so it's a win in my book. Read more

Easy Calcium Boost, Shells Look Better Already

Donithon HoustonNovember 24, 2025

My turtle shells started looking off, and I had no clue how to fix it. I did some digging online and found this premium calcium block. It was exactly what I needed. My tank’s 55-gallon, but I only keep about 20 gallons of water in it, so the block is just the right size. I tossed it a couple of weeks back, and the calcium started dissolving right away. Now, about two and a half weeks later, their shells look shinier and a lot healthier. The block dissolved completely in about 4 days, which is slower than the ones I used before. The instructions couldn’t be easier: just toss it in the tank and let it do its job. They recommend adding one every 2–3 weeks, though the package only comes with one. Still, I wish everything were as simple as this. You can even use it in outdoor turtle ponds—just one block per 20 gallons, and you're set. If you want steady shell support without extra hassle, this calcium block is a solid pick. Read more

It dissolves

Great product, your turtle will eat it but it’s just a supplement so it’s alright. Just put it somewhere else so they won’t get to it Read more

Snails are benefiting from it

HeatherDecember 27, 2025

After I dropped this in my fish tank I checked it a week later. The block was intact still with some of it dissolving on the bottom. My snails seem to be benefiting from it. The size is great and doesn’t make the calcium levels skyrocket. It was really easy to use and you could break it up with some effort if you need to split it up between smaller tanks. Read more

Boost your turtles health

Emily SimpsonNovember 24, 2025

Love this for my turtle tank. Will it turn him into a smceetain cartoon ninja situation worth of stregnth?! Only time will tell. But for now it will help his water and she'll health and that's also important (I guess. Although it would be cooler if he turned into a superhero). This is very easy to use and gives your shell baby tons of health benefits for a low cost. I'm not a vet and can't really give official health advice but turtles need vitamins too! They deserve to be as healthy as live as long as possible so I think this is very worth trying. Read more
