The media could not be loaded. I wanted to write a review since the product description is pretty lacking. These shoes run half a size big (I'm a true 5.5 US and got the size 5 and it fits like a 5.5). My feet are a little wide and these shoes are narrow but there is enough give that they are still wearable to me. The buckle is just decorative, it is actually a Velcro closure. The platform is 2in and the entire shaft is 5in. I have worn heels almost every day of my life for the last 40 years and I wear these type of heels to the office for 8 hrs a day, half that time working at my standing desk so I can say that these are comfortable.
