They are pretty plain with the only embellishment an embroidered double stitching line that goes around the top of the calf. These have easily become my most favorite work boots ever! When I ordered these my intention was never to wear them to work in, but the day after I received them my goats began to all go in labor at the same time. I quickly grabbed these from the box and went to work. Not only are they durable, but they are comfortable too and that’s a rare find in a boot. The leather material is top notch and they are waterproof as well! Even though they have been through the wringer these past two weeks, my boots barely look worn! If I could give 100 stars I would! I wear a wide shoe because my foot is wide across the ball of the foot, so I require a wide toe-box, but my calves and ankles are small. I thought I’d give these a try, wide boots can be hard to find at a good price, and wide calves give me room to stuff my pants into them-- but these don’t work for me. They aren't wide in the toe-box. As PU leather boots go, these are well enough made, both exterior and interior, and they feel and look like they will keep your feet dry on a rainy day. The pleather is a natural, warm medium brown color, the interior is a little cushy and well made. The sole is decent; a non slip waffle, the calf is very generously sized, as are the ankles, and the elastic that expands to allow the calf to stretch is well hidden. In fact I didn’t even know it was there at first. They are pretty much exactly as described EXCEPT that they aren’t wide width in the toe box, which is why I got them. They are marked as a 37 (7USA) X wide, and the photo in the listing shows wide width in the arch and toe-box, but sadly, no. Across the toe they are a normal width. (Hence the 4 out of 5 possible stars.) They aren't narrow, or tight, they just don't allow any expansion across the ball of my foot as I put weight on it. Moreover, because they offer extra room in the ankle, my foot slides forward leaving a tiny gap at the heel, and pressing my big toe up against the toe of the shoe. I need a different kind of wide shoe than this boot is, it’s made for a different foot and leg than mine. It seems like it would be perfect for someone with wider calves and ankles as long as you don’t require extra width across the ball of your foot like I do. To be fair I have a hard to fit foot, and this is a pretty nice PU leather boot. This is a Vine Review. I think the boot is reasonably priced and the quality matches the listed price. It looks good, just like the pictures, and if they had fit I would have been happy to have had a new set of rainy day boots. Read more

These are really nice basic black boots. They are great quality and the sizing is correct. These are extra wide calf and they fit great. Although they fall mostly below my calf, I have a 17in calf and they fit great with room just for reference. They are very comfortable and are great quality for the price! Read more

I usually wear size 9.5 in shoes, but I ordered these boots from SheSole in size 10 to accommodate an orthopedic insole and thick socks. Without the insole, there is some room around the toes, as expected, but the fit is perfect once the insole is added. The boots are wide at the top and feature a hidden elastic panel, making them easy to put on and take off. They have a soft interior lining that provides some warmth, though I may still need thick socks in very cold weather. The exterior is made of synthetic PU leather, which looks and feels similar to natural leather. These boots are practical for work and casual errands, and I am pleased with their comfort and design.
