4 Stars for same design flaws that All massagers I've bought have, the power cord. And a handle grip on the back of the unit would be smart. The auto shut off is less than desirable. Now for the good; has excellent massage motions and features two heat levels four vibration options. It works great from head to toes. When I use I think where have you been all my life! Who doesn't have cervical neck issues these days? Between computers and scrolling on your phone, unless you are militant about your posture, your neck is going to hurt. So this great little neck and back massager has a multitude of features that you'll have to experiment with to find out what level of massage you appreciate the most. But it does do the upper back and the neck and the occipital area really nicely. To be honest it's a great way to lounge on the couch and watch TV in a reclining position. For the quality and the amount of features that it offers, it's a great price, very relaxing and therapeutic. I've seen similar models that were at least twice the price. You want the truth? This deep-tissue massage pad is tiny, like the slim waistline of a supermodel tiny... At its base, the width is 9 inches... At the top, it's 12.75 inches wide. Does that mean it doesn't work? No. It works. The bruises, the throbbing migraine, the nonstop tingling pinches and nerve pain brought on by trying this out for the 3 minute timer segments it runs before it shuts of automatically... My back has never been worse. The depth of the massage pad is 6.25 inches, which means - if you try to use this in your car, you will be pushed to the edge of your driver's seat. I DO NOT RECOMMEND AUTOMOBILE USE at all. It is worse if you use the pump hose to inflate the internal baloon. The stabbing torture of the shiatsu massage spindles will have you wincing in pain and unable to drive straight. Other isues: - The heat never turns off. That's right. The moment you plug it in, the heating element ignites. It remains on until you pull the plug. - The remote cord is too long for seated use. In a desk chair, the remote may loop around the axle of your chair wheel and rip off. Be careful with it. - There is no strap to hold the pad in place while seated. This means the only way to keep it in the position needed is to press firmly back into the stabbing spindles of the shiatsu motors. - The leather-like material is uncomfortable. Wear a shirt or use a blanket, because if your skin has direct contact, it will stick to you and not let go. - It can stir up muscle strain, nerve damage, and bruise you. Due to the need to press firmly into the shiatsu spindles, it's possible you may find yourself with a black and blue back. This is all true. I gave it a solid 3 days of attmepts in my desk chair, prior to trying it out in my car. I wanted to see how intense it was. It's firm, unrelenting, and too narrow, but also too thick. Functionally? It works, but I do not recommend using it while seated. Read more
