Excellent show stretchers!! I got a Paul of Dr Martins that were never gonna fit on my feet due to them being so hard to break in at first. The size 6 was way to big as they do stretch as time goes on so I bought a size 5 that I couldn’t even get my feel into the shoe and I bought them with the “no return” situation as the sale was final. I bought these saviors and these combines with some leather relaxer polish and patience and the shoes fit perfectly now only after about 2 weeks of doing all the things ( spraying w alcohol and walking around w out the insoles and slowly incorporating the insoles back into the shoe and taking baby steps literally). I was skeptical way first but little by little progress was made and now they perfectly fit. I recommend these not only of shoes are wrong size or something like that but also for stiff leather that can be a pain in the butt to wear in and you get blisters and just painful for the first few times one wears a new boot or shoe. This would for sure make wearing those stiff kicks a lot more bearable for first time wearing. It comes with a bag for storage and a shoe horn to help getting tight shoes on feet which I thought was nice as well. Wow this is a fantastic product and what a great price (for now at least) - I used it to stretch a synthetic cycling shoe in conjunction with a heat gun with one of the bunion plugs to help relieve pressure on a tailor's bunion - super easy and took only a few minutes! I drilled a couple of extra holes as well further back along the side which let me line things up exactly with the spur in my foot. Should have done this a year ago when I first got these shoes! I struggled with the heavy wooden ones for years that were super hard to adjust due to the wood swelling and wearing from usage. These are super easy to use. Only takes a moment or two to insert and adjust. Perfect for new shoes with high that annoying heal piece that always seems to cause a blister. Use these first and mitigate that new shoe break-in period. Works the same for new shoes that are stiff and narrow at the front. I find it works best if I put the stretcher in and then place the shoes out in the hot sun. If it is winter and you have a SHOE RACK in your dryer, you can put them in there too. (On very low heat!) (Never put them in without a RACK in a machine designed for it.) BTW, these stretchers are perfect if you washed your sneakers and they are still wet or your leather shoes got caught in the rain whether you put them out in the sun or on the dryer rack. Really good product. It’s not immediately intuitive so I think some of the bad reviews that show it broken or say it doesn’t work are people who didn’t exactly get it lol - especially the part that stretches the length (as opposed to the part that stretches the width, which is reasonably intuitive.) I bought a pair of shoes that was 1/2 a size too small and very rigid. I used this for a couple of days and there was a bit of stretch but not sufficient, so I left this in the shoes for another week or two, expanding the stretcher once every 24-48 hours. After about a week, the shoes fit perfectly and comfortably. This is a great thing to have if you like to buy nice shoes on sale & your exact size isn’t available. Buy smaller and stretch them out! I mean it is a shoe stretcher and it has all the pieces but somehow I ended up with grey which isn't even a selection? Nothing wrong with it in itself so I'm still gonna use it, but how did I end up with a color they supposedly don't even have? Read more
