These are nice looking and soft. The sherpa lining is comfortable and warm. The padding isn't super thick but the soles are durable so that helps compensate that. I had my first pair for 3 weeks when I stepped to the side in them and the upper part of the slipper started to detach from the bottom. I looked and the stitching that held the upper and sole together came loose. This left them unwearable. I contacted Amazon and they were able to send me a new pair right away and I sent off the original pair. Overall I took off one star b/c they are a bit clunky. There's a lot of room for my feet but for me, it's too much room. I find that I have to work a bit to keep them on. Once these wear out, I won't repurchased. If I had issues with my feet swelling, these would be great b/c with the extra room they wouldn't be tight against my foot. So if swelling is an issue, definitely give these a try.
