So I bought this on a whim as a lazy way to clean my dirty tub. Well well well am I impressed!! I attached it to my IKEA drill this past weekend to do a deep clean of our whirlpool tub and HOLY SH*T did this brush work it’s magic. It’s super sturdy, and cleaned so well without me using any elbow grease. I haven’t tried the toilet brush because my toilet is fairly clean and I don’t know how I feel about putting my drill in my toilet. The shower brush also worked wonders on my tile floors. For sixteen bucks on Amazon this is a total game changer. Since I purchased my home, the master shower has had stains in the grout and also on the shower floor that I have never been able to get out. It didn't matter which cleaner I used or how hard I scrubbed. Nothing came out. It looked so disgusting that I started to feel like we were going to go through the expense of having the shower replaced. I bought this drill brush and I am amazed. It took me three separate times of cleaning my shower with this brush to get all the stains out. My shower is now spotless. Spotless people! I would recommend this in a heartbeat. The brush works great. I had to learn to be patient with using the drill to manipulate the brush properly. After a few tires with the drill I was able to find a perfect amount of pressure and cleaned my entire tub with it! I would recommend this to anyone but just be patient with drill if you're not used to using tools with that kind of power. Read more
My shower floor is sparkling clean! Pay attention to the different brush types to make sure you don't scratch up the surfaces you want to clean. I was able to clean my shower tile and fiberglass floor so much better with this tool than I ever have before. You need some type of soap. I tried initially with Pine-sol, and it was slow-going. I got some SoftScrub, and cleaning went really fast. I cleaned the tile, fiberglass floor and glass surround, without any scratches. Be careful with the disk brush near inside corners. The black base is wider than the bristles and will scuff the surface. It came off with some scrubbing, but combination black/yellow brush seems to be better for tight spaces. I've never been able to get the shower this clean before. I love this product. I used an inexpensive corded Craftsman drill that I bought in 1995 with this. I have a 12V cordless, which is great for normal drill use, but probably can't deliver the power needed for this application. Read more
The rounded brush is the only one that's usable to me. The flat one is worthless. And to make matters worse making the hard plastic housing black wasn't a great idea. I tried to use the flat one on my sub and holding it steady was impossible and if the black housing hits the tub it leaves a black mark that doesn't remove easily at all. Used this product for all around cleaning from the house to the horse barn. Cleaned toilets, to horse barn water troughs, and it was super easy and super fun. I have to say it was FUN to clean. These brushes held up, too. Cleaning horse troughs can be tough, but it didn't put a dent in these brushes. I recommend, for anything in the house too. My window sills get nasty from the dust and dirt that comes in from the farm. Just took my hand brush and with a bit of water got in the crevices and wiped it clean with a towel in two seconds. I used this to clean my shower and this made the job so much easier. Given I have never been successful getting the grime out my shower had some pretty tough grime and requires multiple cleanings with these brushes. The initial cleaning was amazing though and removed a significant amount the grime I had never been able to remove before with little effort on my part, that is the best part. Read more
I previously used a different battery (cordless) rotary brush cleaner. it came with its own accessories and motor I think it was a lower voltage one. This unit was much better and being used on a reversible driver was something the other kit did not have. It was much less stressful to clean all the baths, showers and sinks and it too far less time. What was really nice is that with a reversible drill/driver was able to scrub clockwise and anticlockwise. I believe this helped the stability of the brush and was useful on corners. I don't know why we didn't have this option years ago even for use on corded drills. Read more
