I put the color issue in the title because this is the 1st thing to consider when selecting furniture. This is especially true when purchasing a single item (not a set) and ordering it online. So it's not the Beechwood warm tone color shown in the listing photo. I personally like the more ashy cool tone. (shown in my photo) It is an attractive table, sits at a good height, and was fairly easy to assemble. The listing title says this has "storage", referring to the shelf section. This is not accurate, since this shelf is fully visible. Its only purpose is to display home decor items. (as shown in the listing photo) So if you have a lot of home decor and enjoy having another shelf to dust, it is a nice design detail. It seems fairly sturdy and is priced correctly for the quality. This coffee table fits the living room well. The rattan mesh on the bottom shelf gives it a warm, natural look that goes with a lot of different styles. The top is a good size, enough for drinks, remotes, and whatever else ends up on a coffee table. The two-tier design is useful. Bottom shelf holds books, baskets, or magazines without cluttering the top. There's also enough clearance underneath for a robot vacuum to pass through, which is a detail I appreciate. This table was not durable. The screws striped the predrilled hole during building. I was able to still make it work but it was more challenging. Also, the color is an ashy oak rather than a light oak appearance that I was going for. It does look good in my living room despite the challenges during building and the discoloring from the description and pictures. Read more
