The zipper is is well done & secure. The buttons are just like a regular pair of real blue jeans!! I really love having the built-in shorts! They give me freedom to move but be covered! Next.. it’s got FOUR big pockets!! Love that! And pockets are actually functional and big enough for phone, keys or my chapstick! This denim is lightweight and breathable. These are going to be perfect for summer. Having something that looks a little more put together and a little more trendy is a nice thing to have. The value is great for the skirt. It’s super reasonably priced for something that you’re going to use so much. This piece could be really dressed up with a cute pair of strap sandals and a pretty top or just a pair of white tennis shoes and a T-shirt. I ordered this in an extra large. It has a lot of stretch in it and a lot of give. I’m five 5 1/2 and I wear a 14/16 inch shorts. The washing instructions are detailed clearly on an interior tag, making it easy to take care of this. It also details the blend of the fabric that the garment is made of. Overall, this is definitely a five star product for me and I know it’s going to get worn a lot. It fits great. First and foremost, please keep in mind prior to ordering that a skort is shorts that have a skirt appearance from the front so that your expectations can be met with this adorable high quality piece. I chose this because I’ve gained a little bit of weight from some medical issues and I’m not really comfortable wearing just regular skirts but sometimes want a more elevated look from jean shorts. I have to say that I absolutely love this skort! It’s a medium weight denim that has some stretch to it so is quite comfortable. I really like the button detail on the front aesthetically, however, there are also buttons and a zipper under the front flap to add security while wearing. I have around a 29.5” waist and went with the size 8, which fits me like a glove. It is the perfect length that allows for some coverage, but still show quite a bit of leg. I don’t have much of a booty, so the back pockets, accentuate what I do have. I feel confident and sexy wearing it. I was also debating between the blue denim and the black and I’m really glad I went with the black because this can definitely be dressed up or dressed down depending upon what top it’s paired with. I got this skirt for my daughter who is about 175lbs in a size large and it fits her very well. It’s thick material that has stretch to it and washes well. She was able to wear it to school all day and was comfortable in it. The only thing she didn’t like is that the skirt cover in the front sticks out a little bit instead of laying flat. The shorts were a little snug around the waist compared to other size 16 shorts. Length is on short side as well. I liked the skort concept. While wearing, the angle flap bounced against my leg as moved. Would like if the edge was a little further across leg, instead of being mid thigh. Interesting, but not exactly for me. Read more
