I bought this brand based on reviews, and, overall it make the job very good, the only thing, you have to cut everything in very small pieces, other than that, easy to clean up and works good to me. Read more

Slower Than Centrifugal, But More Juice!
I'd been wanting to switch from my centrifugal juicer to a masticating one because I'd read about the benefits; I had to give this a shot when I saw it (although my expectations were, admittedly, low because of the price - I'd always seen masticating juicers for over $100). This was a great choice for me! When I got it, I set it up on my kitchen counter right next to my centrifugal juicer to get an accurate measurement of the similarities and differences; then I started juicing! I chose lemons, celery, and apples - used each juicer separately, starting with my centrifugal. The centrifugal is speedy and you get a decent amount of juice, and I figured the difference between the amounts would be minimal. But then I juiced using the SiFENE Slow Masticating Juicer Machine and was SHOCKED. While it took longer (quite a bit longer, being honest), I got about 1.25 times the amount of juice! That may not seem like much, but it can add up, especially if you're juicing in big batches. The proof came in the remnants - the pulp was FAR drier than the pulp from the centrifugal machine. Clearly, the masticating juicer wrings more juice out! I've been keeping the centrifugal juicer for a while as a "just in case" option; but, after three months of regular use and no issues, I think it's time for me to donate the centrifugal one and focus on masticating my fruit from now on!
