Read other FB reviews saying quality wasn't good. Could not disagree more. I was very surprised by the quality of the product. Very heavy, sturdy wood. Easy to put together (we are not very handy people and it was a breeze for us). Love the way it looks. Its comfortable. Very good quality in my opinion. Sometimes i see negative reviews and wonder if people are just trying to get money back, or if their expectations are too high for what they paid. Very impressed for the price! I got this on a prime day deal so it was even less than the list price. I got the light wood option and am super impressed! It was easy to put together, delivery was easy - the delivery team called 30-40 mins before arrival and set it in my garage rather than leaving it outside (I didn’t pay for the upgrade to drop it in a specific room) and the delivery team was very friendly and helpful! My delivery window was 8 am to 8 pm and it arrived at 8:10 am! I haven’t noticed any major quirks other than as others have said, you need to assemble the chair legs on a flat surface or they’ll get uneven. I only have 1 chair that didn’t end up leveling out after adjusting. It looks high quality and I’ve gotten several compliments already! Cushions are a bit firm but figure those will settle after some use. Read more
I'm so happy! It arrived two days early. The delivery was a bit percarious as they left it lying on the driveway in front of the garage door FLAT. The box was big and very heavy. We had to slide it into the garage, open it up and unpack it and then piece by piece take it into the house. My husband laid out all the pieces and hardware and proceeded to put it together the next day. The outcome is great. All pieces fit and it is stunning. It looks just beautiful in our kitchen and I couldn't be more pleased. The smell is dissipating. The only con is I wish the cushions were a little softer and you have to buy the little gliding tips and apply them to each leg both table and chairs. The media could not be loaded. I purchased the Sanbriar colored table with 6 chairs. It comes in stock very rarely on Amazon, but I’m happy I was able to purchase one when it came available! The table is very heavy, and seems sturdy. The material does seem to be made of a cheaper material and has a slight smell to it once you open the box and start putting it together. Like a plastic/chemical sort of smell. The delivery was great, the two men from RXO delivery company were kind and efficient. Box had minimal damage. However, there is a slight chip on one side of the table; all of the chairs are in great condition. The cushions are beautiful, and well made. The color is a light brown with a little bit of black throughout the wood grain. I would say overall, I am happy with my purchase. I am unsure on durability, as it was just assembled yesterday. 1) the table is too small to be considered a 6 person table. All six chairs can not be pushed under the tables. Six placemats can not be placed on the table without overlapping each other. It can comfortably fit 5, but not six. 2) I dont know how long ago I purchased this but its been at least 2 years. I think the seat cushions are remaining attached through gravity because I had to have collected every screw I put in by this point. The screws need to be probably 1/4 longer. Since the holes have probably stripped I will probably just have to glue them in if I want to fix it. 3) I believe the majority of the furniture is made of plywood. There may be pieces of particle board scattered in a few places. The tabletop is coated in some kind of plastic coating to give it its "rustic" appearance, but it can melt. I'm not yet certain how hot is too hot but my table has bowl marks in it. Not "I'm an idiot and I set a pan from the stove on the table," I took a bowl out of the microwave and set it on the table. If it was too hot to touch I would have had a pot holder just to carry it. So there is a point where something that isn't hot enough to hurt will still melt the table. Read more
