…i didn't pay attention to how much this table weighs… it’s 200 pounds and comes in one box. I managed to get it into my house with the assistance on a piano dolly but I was also limited due to wearing a walking boot. My husband put it together and didnt seem to have any issues. Love the table! It’s held up really well after many D&D seasons, holidays, and regular family dinners. It’s very sturdy and really easy to add the leaf. Aside from the stain not being my favorite and the weight of the boxes when delivered I have nothing bad to say about it. The table itself is fantastic! However, because of its size and a bit of a hiccup with the shipping company, I ended up ordering it twice, and both times it arrived damaged. The returns were straightforward each time, but since it’s quite heavy, getting it ready for pickup and setting it outside needed a little help from a friend. The product arrived damaged. Deep scrapes and gouges on the surface of the table and the corner of the table. It looks like a used product. I contacted Ashley first to ask them to refund me or send me a new table. They claim that they can’t do anything about it. I contacted Amazon second and they gave me the runaround, made me speak to five different agents before finally offering me a very small refund. They expected me to to ship the table back to be able to get a new one or a full refund. It was damaged before it was ever even put in the box and neither Ashley or Amazon will make this fully right. Never bought a dining table from Amazon, feared nothing but the worse. Was impressed that on the whole it was in good shape. There were some small nicks but after getting some credit to repair, used some stains to hide. Had dinner last night for 12 of us and it felt so much larger than our old table ... was actually spacious - plenty of room for foods and drinks and center pieces. I think the table felt so much bigger also because of the footing arrangement ... instead of legs being on the end they were more centered - may engineering wise be smart idea. Overall very happy and to be honest, shocked that a table from Amazon ends up being so good. Read more
