I thought being made by Ashley furniture this was going to be a well made product. We have had this chair for 3 months now and it is already displaying signs of poor quality. The wood is creaking when rocking and there are indentions imprinting into the seat and leg rest therefore not supporting the thickness. So far the recliner pull tab is in good working order and has not failed, but when you recline it still rocks unless it is fully reclined. My husband and I are on the big side that is why I chose to buy this chair. It does indeed have a wide seat, however the back of chair does not support my husbands height and he is 6' 1". Read more

This chair is definitely wide which is what I wanted. I think my previous Great Dane would be able to share it with me. My cat & I love the soft corduroy feel. I particularly like that the foot rest is the same width as the chair and it is solid without a gap between the seat & the foot rest. Just be aware that the fabric does allow crumbs to fall into the grooves, so it is a little harder to clean up. Read more
