I am honestly blown away by this Silent USB Powered Ceiling Fan. I originally bought it specifically to take on cruises, since we all know how stuffy those cabins can get, but I’ve found myself using it all over my house ever since I got back! Surprising Quality: To be honest, I didn’t expect it to be this great. It is exceptionally well-made and feels sturdy, not like a flimsy travel gadget. Powerful & Silent: Don't let the USB power fool you; this fan is surprisingly powerful. It moves a serious amount of air, yet it stays remarkably quiet. This cheap fan works really good. I was surprised at how much air this little fan pushes. Love the timer. It could use lights not as bright. At night they make the whole room glow. You can turn its face to the downside to help that but still could use dimmer light Read more
The media could not be loaded. Putting it together is very easy and straightforward I made a ceiling fan in our bedroom and I used 4 command adhesive strips to hold a hook for holding up the fan, 2 extra adhesive with metal picture hanging hooks to help secure it more strongly to the ceiling, and then white painters tape to help bits of the cord along wall. I hid the remote connected to the cord behind the mattress because the light is very bright, but I use the separate remote a lot and it’s been so helpful! I grew up with a ceiling fan and I enjoy it more than our tower fan that blows only from the side. This thing is not strong enough to compare to the tower fan but is still good enough wind to feel gently or strongly from the ceiling. The remote works great (sometimes doesn’t stay on, so you have to try 3 times like when starting a lawn mower) and is very convenient ❤️ Fan works so good that sometimes I get cold, haha! Definitely recommend Update: Ok, Painter’s tape does NOT work… The cord keeps falling off the wall (thankfully nothing damaged everytime), but it is annoying. Used this fan on a cruise and it was amazing!! Very quiet and efficient. Strong wind comes from it. We put it right over our bed and I could feel the wind on my face so much that I wanted to tuck my head under the covers. Used all night every night on the 5 day cruise it was great! Read more
The media could not be loaded. We bought it for our camper to move air in our master bedroom! When it arrived m, I though I got jipped because it literally came in a small box. I opened it up and boom there it was! I put it together. Mine had no instructions, but I mean it’s super simple. It comes with a USB hookup, but you will need the actual power piece that goes into the receptacle! Now on to the actual review: If you think this fan is going to be like a box fan..you are sadly mistaken. However, if you want something with white noise, that moves a pretty good bit of air..this is the fan for you! We have it wedged in our camper ceiling strip and it is so lightweight it works amazing there. We turned our vent toward the fan and when I tell you I FREEZE at night, I do not lie! I ordered this for a cruise we were going to take last year. For work reasons, we had to reschedule the cruise, so I did not get to test this fan before the return period expired. I did get to use it last week on the rescheduled cruise. Hanging the fan using magnet hooks worked perfectly. The first night, the fan worked all night perfectly. The second night, there was a slight "clicking" noise from the fan but we were able to sleep through the "clicking". The third night, the clicking was too loud to sleep with so I turned it off. Luckily, I have another travel fan I was able to use to keep the sir moving in our room. I tried it a couple of more times during the day and at night, but the "clicking" noise was too loud to sleep with so we did not use it any more during the cruise. It did put out a lot of air, even on low speed so if it had not started making the "clicking" noise, I would have given this fan a five star review. Read more
I got this fan for my teen’s top bunk. We hang it from a screw-in hook in the ceiling and it’s perfect in the summer. It makes a low hum noise that helps them sleep. They really like the remote l. The cord is pretty long but didn’t reach the floor. We have a power strip mounted on the wall for charging phones and what-not. You can also get a usb extension cable if you need a longer cord.
