Smells like gasoline
This review is the purple model. When I first opened this item I was overwhelmed with a gasoline-like smell. I washed it in warm water and soap, and the smell remained. I've let it air out for 2 weeks and it still smells awful. I'm also concerned that this might not be pure silicone. An Internet search told me if silicone turns white when stretched, that means it's not medical grade. These turn white when stretched, so I don't trust it. I will be throwing this away. Read more

Good material, exactly as pictured.
This product is made of some nice quality silicone. It is soft without any seams or anything that could cause damage or collect germs. I have boiled the product for sanitation purposes and it held up well meaning it is true silicone and not some cheap dangerous facsimile. The sizing is nice, you can use as little or as much as you want, with each size a decent step up from the previous. The central cord or body of the product seems sturdy and I don't think there's any chance it will ever break off and be a danger to anyone. Overall I'm pleased with these. They're exactly as they're pictured and exactly what I expected. The Ms & I have had some fun with them, so I'd say that they're pretty fun. The quality is good and the silicone is soft and smooth. The size of the beads range from very small to medium/large, so I'd say that it's good for beginners and usable by just about anyone.
