I have been buying these lashes on the Silly George website (and paying a shipping fee and waiting a week to receive them). I was so excited to find them here on Amazon with same or next day delivery! They are incredibly easy to use (with a slight learning curve) and look so natural. I saw several reviews of this exact product complaining that there are not enough sizes. It's important to note that this is NOT A FULL KIT. The full kit has several different sizes, from 14mm to 8mm. The 10mm and the 12mm are the most popular sizes. These mini kits are meant to supplement the full kits, or for people that want to mix and match. The special tweezers are also sold seperately (not sure about Amazon, but I bought it on the regular website with my first order). Also on the website, there are how to videos and lash mapping diagrams which are incredibly helpful. I used the "Natural Lash" one, using three 10mm lashes, one 12mm lash and one 8mm lash (per eye). I ran out of the 10mm right away, so had to order this individual size kit to supplement it. You can find the full kit on Amazon too. I have not been able to get these to stay on for 5-10 days though - more like 3 days, though. Still very happy with them! Photos are with no other makeup. Literally just looks like I put a little mascara on. May try some longer lash looks and other styles for glamming it up but this is perfect for everyday. Read more
I am not a temptress; that ship sailed long ago. But my lashes are fading, and mascara prefers highlighting my fine lines, rather than staying on my lashes. I had tried false eyelashes and found them uncomfortable, difficult to maintain, and dare I say, quite false-looking. Then Silly George came out with pre-glued clusters. After a bit of practice, I fell in love with the clusters, but the packages came with 8mm, 10mm, 12mm, and 14mm. I will admit, practicing with the 14's in the beginning was helpful, since the extra length made it easier to take the cluster off the card and nestle the cluster on the underside of my upper lashes, but no one I know naturally has 14mm eyelashes. Finally, Silly George came out with packets of single-sized lashes, and I couldn't be more thrilled! I order 2 8mm for every one 10mm package. I put a couple 8mm on the outside edge. Marylin Monroe might prefer longer lashes on the outside edge of her eyes, to give her the cat eye look, but I have found that the shorter lashes stay on longer. I think it has something to do with the extra length and leverage, causing the longer ones to pull off sooner. I put two 8mm on the inside corner and then 10mm between. If I am going to be adventuring, I will go exclusively with the 8mm. Using just the 8mm, I have actually gone 2 weeks on a single set of lashes, but realistically, a bit over a week is most often the case. They did not stay on more than an hour. Looked great until they fell off. UPDATE: I reached out to Silly George and their customer service was excellent. They think I may have gotten a faulty batch and are sending me another set. Hopeful they work! Read more
These are good, once you get the hang of applying them. They usual last me about 5 days. I stick to the 8 and 10 mm lengths with maybe one 12 mm once in awhile so the look stays natural and not like I have furry caterpillars on my eyelids. Read more
I have deep set eyes and fine eye lashes. I haven’t had any luck until these! I was able to put them on first try and they look so natural. It’s rare to find a company that makes a 10mm lash. Thank you!!! Read more
