I love this Moka Pot. You do need to "brew" a few cycles to dump as the instructions tell you to. I wasn't sure because it was kind of spitting while brewing but once I did a couple of cycles it brews perfectly. I have a smaller one that is not electric. I got this one because I wanted to stop buying the espresso brewed stuff in the store. I like that I can control the strength and I get fresh espresso any time I want it. Read more
I love this coffee maker! It is my first time to use one but the learning process was easy. My husband and I absolutely enjoy the coffee every morning in place of our usual k-cup maker. So glad we discovered this suit at Moka Pot! I understand that the aluminum pot is the way to go. Read more

This isn’t true café-style espresso, but it does make an excellent, strong cup of coffee with a hint of that oily espresso foam. It works fast, and the electric heating is a big plus—the temperature is well regulated, which really matters with this style of brewer. Too much heat usually ruins the flavor, and this gets it just right. Keep in mind the “6 cups” refers to standard 1-oz espresso cups, so you’re really getting about one regular mug of coffee.
