I was so pleased when this notebook arrived in perfect condition that I immediately got to work using it. It is perfect for drafting patterns for my small sewing company. I love that each square is 1/4" because it makes it so easy to properly scale my pattern drawings and I don't have to do any difficult guess work. The pages tear out easily and cleanly too along the perforated line and the hard cover makes it easy to write and draw anywhere and everywhere. Also even though I only use pencil I press pretty hard when I write and am still able to cleanly erase any errors and not have marks show through to the other side of the page either. Overall this is the perfect notebook for any sewist or person in need of a good graph paper notebook with clear grid lines and heavy weight sheets that stay put in the book or tear out nicely. Shipped in a polybag, which allowed 3 out of 3 to have damaged wire bindings. I bent the wires back as best I could, but shoot, that's going to make turning the pages difficult for the entire use of the product. I understand the need to keep shipping expenses low, but it is disappointing to get mangled wires. I would also recommend inspecting to make sure you get graph paper instead of college rule. I didn't and put my 3 pads into a drawer, when I went to get a new one, I realized that I didn't have the right ones. And my return deadline has passed. Great product, but troublesome order fulfillment execution. AND THAT's FULFILLMENT BY AMAZON's FAULT. Not Silverpoint. I use these tablets to take notes at work, and I use markers and gel pens with multiple colors to help me find, illustrate and draw attention to points or changes. So the paper has to be able to handle all that ink and these do. I love the graph version because having the vertical alignment is helpful. Read more
