I am allergic to wool so I spent all my adult life avoiding anything wool, settling for yucky acrylic/polyester warm socks for cold days.; until I learned about merino wool. Upon trying some items I realized that I don't itch at all, at any point, even after wearing something for all day and for days. I started looking on Amazon and these socks stood out due to higher content or merino and there is a video by a woman showing them, that they fit good women's feet (my size is 7.5) and that they are great quality. I am happy with these socks so far(for around home). The patterns are cute but they are not non-sleep for walking around home, can be slippery on wooden floor. They are thick inside, cushioned and feel so warm and good. Very well made. They only reason that I took 1 star off is that they have rather high content of polyester, I wish they were made of just wool and cotton which would make them last forever (my other plastic socks after years look like trash, they ended up in the trash too).
