One of the most perfect bras which I ever have owned.
The key to this bra is the inserts in the cups intended to hold removable pads. Today, finding bras with this (almost) unique feature is not easy. The pads included are made out of some genuinely supportive material (a type of memory foam), and not out of a flimsy cloth and fiberfill. The design of this feature in this bra is very clever; its removable pads remain in their proper place! The lace added to this bra is beautiful. The bra appears to be made very soundly and out of materials that may be relied upon to last for many ears. This is the first Simone Perele bra that I ever have bought, so it shall be seen as to whther or not, with proper care, it holds up in great condition for as long as Maison Lejaby bras do. Lejaby has discontinued its models of bras which were made with inserts for removable pads, btw, and this is the reason why I chose to purchase this one. I find the sizing to be true. The band may be a tad bit tighter than a U.S. 32 (wth a cm size of 70), but otherwise, its band and cup sizing are as they are in other brands of bras. I find the bra to be very comfortable to wear. The underwire is covered very well and does not cause any discomfort. A related point: Amazon pricing of these bras. When I bought this one, I discovered that my size and color were "on special" that day and cost about $40.00. After the first one arrived (only two days later), I discovered that the Amazon price on this size and color of this model bra had doubled. Amazon noted that only two were left in stock on that day, but when I checked via a business account how many could be bought in bulk, the answer was that quite a few more than two were able to be bought. I then bought a second bra of this model (different size) shortly after the first purchase, and the different size (but still in white) cost a little bit less than the first one that I had bought on Amazon had cost. Again, less than 24 hours later, the purchase price shown on Amazon for the size and color of the second bra of this model which I had bought had almost tripled in price! To compare, at the time when I bought both bras, Simone Perele's website in Paris was offering this bra in my size/color for $89.00 + less than $10.00 S&H to the U.S. I continued this experiment and discovered a third bra of this model for sale on Amazon for less than $30.00. Again, it was not in my precise size, but quite close. I bought that one, too, and ... like clockwork, less than 24 hours later when I accessed the Amazon link to the third bra that I had bought, the price for that size and color had almost tripled in price. Can this possibly be a coincidence? I highly doubt it. Again, after my third purchase, Amazon reported that only ONE bra of this model and in this size/color was left in stock, but researching how many of it could be bought if one decided to buy in bulk returned the result that about a half dozen were "available." All shoppers should keep this in mind and know that Amazon apparently plays muscial chairs with its pricing depending on whose account is doing the shopping and for what particular item that said account is shopping. Is this possibly legal, i.e., to base the prices of items sold on Amazon depending exclusively on whose account is the shopper? Read more
