The cotton is soft but not flimsy, and they hold up well after multiple washes without pilling or losing shape. I especially appreciate the snug fit—it feels safe and comfortable without being restrictive, and they’re easy to zip on/off for diaper changes. The fabric is breathable, which is great for overnight wear, and my son sleeps comfortably in them. Cutest pjs. I got the 6-9M for my 90-sonething percentile 5M old, and I like the snug fit. There's extra room in the feet for him which is an issue with some other footies of the same size range. They wash well and the light cotton is still cozy enough for winter here. Would be nice if they had the double zipper, but that's fine. I purchased these items for a 2 yr toddler (in a size 5) who is the height of a 3.5 yr old, (wanted him to have some room to grow in them). They are large enough for him to wear backwards (he will undress if he can reach the zipper). If your little one is full figured or chubby this will probably be tight on them -order 2 or 3 sizes up. They don't seem to shrink when washed and dried and the zipper has held up well. The feel is almost like a cotton undershirt, the stretch has not been explored yet and the thickness is thin like a cotton undershirt. Correction: I purchased this item in 2 sizes- the first time, last year, I bought a size 3 for a 1 yr old. The child can still fit the 3t size (but maybe for another 2-4 months) and the zipper, fabric and even the non skid dots on the feet seem to wear well with minimal shrinkage. The size 5 was purchased this year because he is growing fast- getting taller. I usually size up 2 years when buying clothes for children- especially from other countries- their size charts seem to be smaller, maybe we are taller and/ or larger in comparison. Read more
