Simple Joys by Carters Boys 3-Pack Mesh Shorts

I bought a similar set of 3 for my son off the Carter’s website 2 years ago, and they lasted that long and grew with him, so I decided to try again in a size up now that he has grown. My son is on the stockier side, and these still ran big on him, which I’d much prefer to too small! Drawstring is real and functional, and elastic band has lots of stretch. They are a bit big on him now (he is 37 lbs and I bought a size 4), but I expect to get two years’ wear out of them like we did last time! I love these shorts, and my 5yr old son loves them too. They fit him perfectly, colors are nice, and they are well made and very durable. He wears them when we go for runs around the block, when we're chilling at home, or even to the supermarket. Purchased these on sale with the intention of using them for daycare change of clothes. After they arrived I was pleasantly surprised! Quality is amazing! Adorable, breathable and very good quality. Also love the functional drawstring! Will def get two summers out of these. I went back and bought the second 3 pack for full price. Worth the money. Read more

My 4 year old loves bright colors and these are his favourite shorts. they are very good quality and fit well and I love that when he wears the orange ones I can spot him from a mile away. Took off 1 star because they are relatively expensive compared to shorts of similiar quality. Read more

I think the product is great don't get me wrong. The quality of the shorts are amazing but the price? Come on! These aren't clothes a child will wear for 3+ years. A year max. This a price for grown adult clothes that will last a grown adult, not a kid. With everything going up and families are making ends meet with their children too. It's hard. I'm going to admit it, I don't have a lot of money but I do know my partner and I work hard to be able to afford the clothes we buy our children. I mean, we purchased them anyways. This price is way too much. Bring it down 10 bucks or so. But overall the shorts are nice. Read more

My son is in between sizes and we’ve found that the bottoms with drawstrings work best because we can tighten them. Nice length, not too long or too short. Good value for 3 pairs and the colors go with most of his clothes. Nice mesh material for playing. Read more
