Great soft sweat pants. Very smooth on the inside. Decent quality materials and stitching. My child wears a 4T so I bought a 5T to be safe but found it was way too big for her. Went down to the 4T and everything fits except for the waist. My daughter I think has a decent size belly, but it's still another 2-3 inches too big. I am having another replacement elastic band put in that will cost twice as much as the pants, but I like the material but unusable as far as the waist goes. I would say it's about typical thickness you would expect for this price point. I would probably use this for school where my child would only be exposed to max 50 degree temps for a only couple minutes at a time, and being thin enough where she won't sweat all day in school.
