This one is different! I’ve been on a quest to find a replacement for my Contigo cup that I absolutely used to death. Ive tried them all. I ordered this one thinking I’m probably not going to like it. I’ve found some that have been ok but none that I liked as much as my Contigo cup. The ONLY thing I could say about my Contigo cup was that it didn’t have a carry handle. They make sleeves for that though and I carried it in my lunch bag pocket with no problem. So I get this one and right away I know it’s different. Very different. I like straws but I want my straw to be able to be covered and my cup to be non leaking. This now is my FAVORITE cup!! It beats my old Contigo by a LANDSLIDE. Insulation is good, keeps my drinks cold. It functions with a straw that looks huge but in fact it’s nice and small just the way I like it. I can’t stand cups with big straws or openings that are too wide. This is perfect 😍 It doesn’t leak, looks great, keeps my drinks cold, AND has a handle! This CUP is the best! Love my bottle, I use it daily. Half a bottle of ice keeps all day long with the water even when it's hot outside. As for the reviews with the "mold in the straw and drink spot" obviously you need to clean it with a straw brush at least onece a week or more id you use something other than water. Seemed like a nice bottle at first, similar straw mechanism as the Owala and I liked the color options. However, now that I have owned the bottle for 4 months, I have learned that the lock mechanism doesn’t work well and the lid super easily opens and dumps out everywhere. Also, the mold/mildew that forms on the cap covering the spout cannot be washed off and appeared even though I only use the bottle for water and clean it often. Will be getting rid of this and going with a different brand. Read more
