This MP3 player is a great option for travel or summer camp where internet access is limited. The sound quality is clear and the Bluetooth connection pairs easily with headphones. The metal body gives it a durable feel and the touchscreen is responsive. Having FM radio and a headphone jack adds flexibility. It’s compact, simple to use, and works well for offline music listening. The battery life is nice, especially since it isn’t loaded with unnecessary apps. I think this is a fantastic value for the money. Read more

Would not purchase again. Frame around folded viewing window broke easily and the part the protects the spine of the case needed manual manipulation everything it was opened. Read more

My initial impressions of this little music player were pretty good; the unit feels solid and well-built, the included plastic case was a nice touch, and it was great that they included a micro SD card so the unit can be used right away. Upon starting the player up, I immediately found the interface to be a bit laggy though, and, unfortunately, I found the touch screen to be very finicky and difficult to use (the top 20% or so of mine doesn’t register touches consistently). I decided to fully charge the player before doing anything else and discovered that it’s very picky about what USB-C cable it will charge from. It doesn’t like my Apple cables, but a cheap random cable worked, as did the one included. For connecting to my iMac, only the included cable would work. Once I got it connected, I found transferring songs to be simple, if a bit slow (42 songs totaling 250MB took about 10 minutes). With some music on the player, I discovered that there is, essentially, only one playlist (“Favorites”), and that this player is very fussy about how songs are tagged. About a third of the songs that I transferred lost their artist and ended up grouped together under “unknown”. Likewise, a number of songs were completely missing, or refused to play. Navigating through songs is also a bit trying. The FM radio feature seems to work reasonably well, as long as the earphones are plugged in. I didn’t bother to try videos or eBooks, because I can’t imagine any reason to ever use those features. The voice recorder seems to work fine. Interestingly, the Pictures app picked up on some album artwork I’d copied over, by accident, and displayed it just fine. The unit paired with a Bluetooth speaker easily and worked as expected. I also like that the unit has a little speaker built in, which sounds reasonably good, in an AM radio kind of way. Overall, I guess it’s fun as sort of an inexpensive, retro-style music player…like a tiny little 21st century Victrola. Despite some frustrations, I do think it’s a neat little player - I’m just not sure what exactly to do with it since my phone already does all of these things better. Read more

The media could not be loaded. Pretty good, has all the basic functions that you'd expect from a small mp3 player - most notably bluetooth transmitter and music playing of course, along with an FM radio. NOTE: old folks like me have songs sorted by folder, you have to swipe left to access the 2nd page, then there's a big folder you press and then you can access the regular filesystem. This took me wayyyy too long to figure out so hopefully this saves some people some time. Read more
