Cmap software is a hot mess
Before even installing on my boat this thing has been garbage. Map update software crashes on a brand new laptop. Tried 3 other computers until one would actually run this trash called C-MAP x chart updater. After finally being able to update the map, it actually downgraded it and seems to have lost the ability to show red and green navaids. C-Map software is beta trash and I've tried to contact them with no response. Get this fixed or this unit is going back to Amazon and I well be returning to Garmin. DON'T BUY ANYTHING WITH C-MAP CHARTS UNTIL THIS IS FIXED!!! The NSX is a very nice piece that is let down by crappy software. Update: Simrad has stepped up and sent me a new chart card which has fixed the problems. I haven't tried to update it and probably won't for a while. Now a 4 star product.
